You can use FUNDimensions to list your "best" donors, defining best by gift amount, number of gifts, or recent giving. Choosing Sort from the Records menu in the Donor module produces this dialog; choosing Rank by Gift Amount from the popup menu enables some options for configuration:
The lower section of the window permits you to limit the gifts included in the amount sort to specific types or date ranges. Thus you can be precise enough to do a sort like "Show me my best donors year-to-date according to memberships."
