The Report Editor provides you the flexibility to produce almost any report from FUNDimensions. A library of templates is included with the software, and these appear in the Advanced Reports window, so you don't need to load them into the Report Editor unless you want to edit them.
Simple reports are easy to design, by simply dragging and dropping from a list of fields into the header of the report. Additional capabilities are available through the inclusion of formulas and special routines. The report can be formatted with fonts, date and currency formats, sorting, headers and footers, page numbers and so forth.
While the usual destination for reports designed here is the printer, results can also be sent to a text file on disk or to a graph. The former can be used to generate custom exports, while the latter permits special charts unavailable through the regular chart editor.
