The Information Palette appears in donor and gift input windows. Its designed to reduce the tunnel vision effect of relational databases; this is a result of viewing individual records associated with a donor, without ever seeing the big picture that all the associated records together provide. For example, many fundraisers want to know the most recent and largest gifts for a donor, immediately upon opening their record. While most programs offer some kind of report, sorting routine, or other procedure for providing this information, its not instantly accessible, as it is in FUNDimensions' Information Palette.
The Information Palette appears and updates on-the-fly. There's never a need to run a script or click a button to be sure that what you are seeing is accurate. It hovers in the position you select, out of your way, yet always there to help.
