This part of the Donor Input Window contains the basic information for a donor: the name, address and phone number. Separate fields let you set up a custom mailing label and a letter salutation for mail merge. You can designate that the donor not be included in labels and exports with the Omit Mailing flag. The phone numbers can be dialed with a modem by clicking the labels next to them, i.e. clicking on "Home" dials the number in that field.
During entry of a new record, FUNDimensions automatically capitalizes and punctuates words for you. For example, you can type "mr and ms" and FUNDimensions changes it to "Mr. and Ms.". Phone numbers and zip codes are formatted for you, too. FUNDimensions also warns you if you are creating a record that may be a duplicate of one already in the database.
