If the event type supports the Not Done/In Progress/Done status, you will be able to mark the event as Done from the reminder. This saves time over opening the event record to mark it done.

If you have multiple users of your database, you can set a separate reminder to appear for any of them. For example, the creator of an event might specify that they want to be reminded 3 days before the event, while a co-worker wants a reminder just 1 hour before the event. FUNDimensions lets each person independently schedule, dismiss and snooze their reminders.
