Changes to 7.4, 27 May 09
This is a free update if you are licensed for version 7.0 or higher.
new features
- Easier setup for creating fundraising events
- new filtering option in the donor picker lets you see only the donors
who have not already been seated at the event, for adding them to a table,
row, room or team
- new status bar in the donor picker lets you see the number of donors
selected for seating, without needing to seat them first
- Streamlined user interface in the Event Manager
- added display of selected group name to title of registrations listbox
e.g. instead of just displaying “Registrations” it now displays “Registrations
for Table 3”
- event manager returns to event or management tab, whichever was selected
when the window was closed for each event
- event manager window title bar to display the event date, since that
is otherwise only visible by clicking the Event tab
- sort in the event manager are preserved when changing selections and

- fix wrong selection of registrants when sorting groups

using the Delete group or Remove Donor buttons, if the list had been sorted
and no change had been made to the selection with mouse clicks or keyboard

dashboard (shown below, left). These update automatically as gifts are added,
edited or deleted, to help
you stay
informed
about your fundraising progress. Choices are This Week, This Month, This
Month Over Same Period Prior Month, This Month Over Same Days and Month Last
Year,

Year,
This Year Over Last Year, This Fiscal Year, This Fiscal Year Over Same Period
of Last Fiscal Year, and All Time.You can also invoke a command to display
the Dashboard Preferences from the same menu, indicated with the arrow below:

- Add option to color FUNDimensions dashboard entries in red and display
them with a mark when a user-determined threshold in unacknowledged (Thank
You Note not sent) days

assists
the
fundraiser in sending thank you notes in a timely fashion, without the need
to constantly
check the dashboard. (Shown at left in screenshot above.) The threshold is
set in Dashboard Preferences.
- Larger font size and slightly more white space make the dashboard easier
to read, while still keeping the display compact.

- Fix that sheet dialog windows do not respond to mouse clicks under Mac
OS X 10.5.2
- Fix two runtime errors that might occur when opening the Backup
Configuration window

- Fix problem with vertical text
within chart areas.
