Compatible with all current Windows and Mac operating systems and hardware, including Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.7 "Lion".
- Rosetta not required on Intel Macs; not compatible with older Power-PC Macs.
- Password prompt the first time you print in a session under Mac OS X 10.6 is eliminated; Resolves all interface issues under Windows 7.
- A cosmetic issue exists under Lion with the toolbar icons in the Report Editor. Workaround is to use the menus instead. The icons will be fixed in a future release.
Web Access to Your Data.
- Allows fast access to your database with any internet-connected computer, anywhere.
- Requires FUNDimensions Client-Server edition, available separately or as an upgrade to the Single-User Edition.
- May require tweaks to your network configuration (paid support available).
RFM (Recency, Frequency and Monetary Value) rating system. A standard in marketing, RFM offers a simple. logical way to segment donor databases and target appeals, by offering a simple numeric rating for each donor. FUNDimensions implements this standard in the following ways:
- Searching on RFM:
  - Search on a complete RFM value, e.g. "243".
  - Search on a range of RFM values, e.g. "234-555".
  - Search on a single RFM value, e.g. "Recency is equal to 3".
  - Search on a range of single RFM values, e.g. "Frequency is between 2 and 4, inclusive".
- Sorting on RFM. You can sort two ways:
  - FUNDimensions sums the digits in each donor's RFM, then sorts on that total. In this sort, a donor with a score of 234 (total=9) would rank above a score of 241 (total=7).
  - FUNDimensions performs a multi-level sort from left to right through the RFM score. In this sort, a donor with a score of 234 (second digit of 3) would rank below a score of 241 (second digit of 4).
- On-screen display of RFM while browsing donor records.
- Export of RFM in the standard export from the Donor module.
- RFM available as a function in the Report Editor, for output as a graph, text export, HTML export or printed report. This allows RFM values to be added to many of the existing reports in FUNDimensions, as well as being included in any new reports you create, ro reports created for you by our custom report service.
- Custom setting of the number of groups in each RFM element. You may set the number of groups between 2 and 10 independently for recency, frequency and monetary value. So you can have maximum score of 555, but you could also set the maximum score 999, 682 or other number. This can be set independently for each user.
- Preferences settings allow you to ignore donors with no gifts in calculating RFM aggregates. Optionally, you can also ignore donors with no gifts after a user-determined date.
Improved duplicate record management.
- When duplicate records are detected during data entry, you have the option to compare them side-by-side.
- Add duplicate detection for email addresses.
- Duplicate detection now works when editing existing records, not just for new records.
- Add “New Record” to the window title of new donor records to assist in distinguishing the new record from the old when comparing potential duplicates side-by-side during data entry
Print-to-PDF reports under Windows (already available on Mac).
Streamlined printing workflow, eliminating unnecessary appearance of Page Setup/Print Setup dialogs.
Event ticket printing added to donor module (in addition to Event Manager module).
Improvements to Label Printing user interface.
- Font preview when selecting label font .

Fix that new and edited account user names may not be retained. (You may need to quit and relaunch for user account names to appear as edited.)
Fix bug when deleting a constituent from a relationship, that the current donor record would change and the Add Donor To Relationship button would not disable.
Fix that the asterisk to indicate presence of a note would not go away when a donor record was duplicated, even though the duplicate did not have attached notes.
Fix that duplicate default keywords would be assigned if a record was created after canceling after a duplicate record alert.
Fix runtime error and wrong data in Advanced Reports > Distribution and Cross Tabular > All Gifts by Quantity.
Fix that month over month and year over year stats in appearing in the Dashboard were reversed, e.g. this month over last month numbers were displaying last month over this month.

Added beta-test report for calculating RFM (recency-frequency-monetary value) metrics. To create this report, do Output menu > Advanced Reports from the Donor List View, and select RFM Metrics (beta) from the Export theme. Import the resulting file into a spreadsheet.

This is a free update if you are licensed for version 7.0 or higher.

Add “Anywhere“ option to Basic Search; in the Donor Module. This permits users to locate records without having to first know which field the text or number they are searching for, is in. For future development, this opens up the following possibilities:
- Search scope does not currently include related records, e.g gift and note records, but this may change.
- A custom browser for these search results may be developed which will direct users to the locations (fields) within records where the search located a match.
- The fuzzy and phonetic matching available in other searches could be extended to the Anywhere search.
- Additional fields could be indexed for fuzzy and phonetic matches to extend the usefullness of the Anywhere search, and possibily other searches as well.
Add “Ends with” option to Basic Search.

When printing a note from the Note Input Window, include saved picture and improve speed of printing.
Fix bad cosmetic result when printing multi-page notes.
Add message in Assign Other dialog when Designate as Not Duplicates cannot be used because there are more than two records in selection, and disable the radio button. This is a more efficient interface for users than catching this error after OK is clicked.

Easier setup for creating fundraising events

New options to show current and period-comparison statistics in the FUNDimensions dashboard (shown below, left). These update automatically as gifts are added, edited or deleted, to help you stay informed about your fundraising progress. Choices are This Week, This Month, This Month Over Same Period Prior Month, This Month Over Same Days and Month Last Year, This Year, This Year Over Last Year, This Fiscal Year, This Fiscal Year Over Same Period of Last Fiscal Year, and All Time.You can also invoke a command to display the Dashboard Preferences from the same menu, indicated with the arrow below:

Add option to color FUNDimensions dashboard entries in red and display them with a mark when a user-determined threshold in unacknowledged (Thank You Note not sent) days is met. This assists the fundraiser in sending thank you notes in a timely fashion, without the need to constantly check the dashboard. (Shown at left in screenshot above.) The threshold is set in Dashboard Preferences.
Larger font size and slightly more white space make the dashboard easier to read, while still keeping the display compact.
